Never could I have ever imagined a world where a woman can make bank posting explicit content on OnlyFans, twerking on Instagram, or making sex tapes for porn websites. Not only that, there are websites promoting sugar daddies. I’ve also heard stories of women getting flown to luxurious places like Dubai to satisfy weird wealthy men.
Not to say that this applies to all women in terms of generalizing, and I’m liberal enough to accept people having the freedom to choose what they want to do. But I wonder if it’s a healthy decision for women to take these jobs or side gigs and make a career out of it? Some of them do it to survive to make ends meet, while others have plans of opening their own business. Yet, what does this suggest of our society, how does this affect young girls in a hypersexualized environment who see easy money being made here on websites and on social media by posting explicit content and selling their bodies.
