The Pillars Of My Thoughts.

Hubble Goes High Def to Revisit the Iconic 'Pillars of Creation'
NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope has revisited the famous Pillars of Creation

Dear World,
God is truth/false, God is perfection/imperfection, God is omnipresent/absent, and God is love/hate. All religions have a purpose, a sense of community, and guidance for one to get in touch with God. My God is in nature, for nature is a part of the universe, which means that God is in everything and that everyone is God. The idea that God made man in his image, could mean that God is all of matter, from the science concept. Could we be God (Universe) self-replicating itself? In other words, one pattern in nature is the tendency to make a copy of itself (replicate) such as cells, and the universe will continue to replicate itself an infinite amount of times in order to continue the universal harmony. Humans make copies of themselves when mating (sex) and many other creatures have interesting ways of replicating themselves. For example, viruses can only replicate themselves inside of a host to continue their purpose, and its purpose is to survive or it could be viewed as, to live fully and forever.

I get in touch with God through nature, by looking up at the heavens or the stars that want to be noticed, by inhaling and exhaling the soul of the universe through the air we breathe, by tasting the Earth’s fruits of labor, and by listening to the heavens. This universal symphony, the music that’s all around us can be heard when someone sings, or when an instrument is played, which comes from this same air, energy, and soul. Our minds are able to translate nature into words or symbols and art. In
the same way, our ears, which use the sense of hearing and are linked to the mind, allow you to listen to the composition all around us and of the heavens above. All one has to do is allow yourself to listen. If blessed with the gift of hearing, you shall hear the symphony going on around us. A person who is not blessed with the gift of hearing, one who is deaf can also get in touch with divinity through their other senses. There is a beautiful harmony as well as an ugly out-of-tune symphony from the creative-destructive Big Bang! Chaos & Order comes hand-in-hand with the universe, such as the idea of entropy. This is part of the reality of what modern science has found that is called the Big Bang.

The Creation of Adam -Michelangelo

Life imitates nature and art imitates life. Michelangelo’s painting of, The Creation of Adam, has been imitated numerous times. It’s a beautiful painting that’s worth a look, for it’s a representation of God creating man in his image. You can interpret it in any form you would like, that is one of the beauties of art. There may be numerous explanations and interpretations of this painting. Although this painting did not inspire me to write this, I am always inspired by art and looking through the eyes of others. It begs the question, how do I know I exist? And How do you know you exist? Someone might say, “Well by keeping yourself grounded.” In other words, grounded means you have to be connected with everything around you (come back down to reality). If you don’t keep yourself connected you’ll be lost in space, you won’t know up from down and left from right. When you look at yourself in a mirror, you see a representation of you and your existence, but that doesn’t do it justice, (at least not for me).

The best way to feel we exist is when others are looking at us. In other words, when looking at other people’s eyes, interacting with them, the world, and your inner self. If you are part of society, a community, or a group, others define who and what you are in the form of gender, nationality, race, height, and all these various different labels to put you in boxes. This is by no means that it is entirely bad to be put in boxes of labels because it is useful to have structure, and order, to better understand who we are and to measure how we are.

Some people tend to resist this orderliness, or structure, and sort of the same repetition of day-to-day life and will begin to formulate their own true identities. It can be very difficult to formulate your own true identity and to detach yourself from the way you have been growing up based on your family, tradition, environment, culture, etc. All of the world around you, of your time, has influenced you in some way, whether you like it or not. It is for this reason that your new ideas and new identity come to fruition, it has to have had an origin.

In this day and age in modern society, it seems like there is this battle of identity (political identity) and it is becoming more prominent in which the need to differentiate ourselves might only isolate one another even more. One may have to keep in mind that we are all unique and different. It is really our minds that may separate and create divisions between one another and can cause racist beliefs. If you look at what we learn more in science, you’ll find your uniqueness, such as your own universal identity as a thumbprint, your thumbprint distinguishes you from others, for there will never be another “you.” In the same sense, we should also recognize and find connections within each other because we are also all the same, such as having hands to touch and feel. This is the oxymoron of the universe, the contradiction of the identity, of humanity because we will never be able to specifically and accurately define who we are, especially with mere words. There’s a multitude of differences and a multitude of commonalities. This is one of the attempts to measure man, to define itself the best it can, man fails to do so in this futile attempt if they don’t recognize both the distinctions and exactness. The measurement of man can only be defined by the Cosmos and we have no accurate measurement for it. In other words, it is impossible to measure it, what can be used to measure the cosmos, and for what purpose. Because if God were to measure himself, what set of rules would he use to do so? You shall realize that nothing is original because everyone and everything is a copy of itself, and that copy comes from God, the origin of everything is God, and thus we are God, or at least a close copy.

pi-is-amazing-1024x415
π is commonly defined as the ratio of a circle’s circumference C to its diameter d.

Is it truly an error to measure man, to measure nature, to measure the universe, and hence measure God? Is it an accurate measurement or do we mismeasure? Again, recognize that we are all different, yet the same. The universe can be a deceptive entity to a blind mind. The universe is a void, an empty space filled with a bunch of stuff. For example, when a cup is filled with water, we can see that it is occupied by the substance of water. But when one empties the cup, the cup is not necessarily empty anymore. Aha! That is to be made a fool by our intuition. The empty cup is actually filled with air (occupied by the various compositions of air from scientific terminologies), and the air is space, and the majority of “space” that surrounds space (cosmos) is nothingness. In other words, the distance between planets, stars, and galaxies is so vastly spacious, and enormous, that it is hard to wrap one’s head around. An empty cup has the potential to be filled with anything, that is the greatness and glory of space, thus the glory of God.

Math is referenced and called the language of God, for it’s a powerful tool that can accurately predict or measure many phenomena in nature and the universe. Although, there are things that math can’t measure, or predict, such as our thoughts, or measure and explain emotions such as love or hate. Math has trouble explaining the origins of life, as in the same way, when someone keeps asking why questions to satisfy their unsettled mind. “Why” questions, done so continuously can only go for so long until one reaches a dead end of human knowledge. In math people developed concepts such as real numbers: 1, 2, 3, 4…, also imaginary numbers (complex numbers) to explain a number when squared has a negative result with -1 and 1.

Another concept of math is the idea of zero (0). Zero symbolizes nothing. Zero can represent a void, an empty space with potentiality. Infinity represents and symbolizes numbers that go on forever and its abstract written format, is this weird loop thing that looks like a sideways eight(8) ∞, this represents something that’s going on forever such as a number that goes on forever like π(Pi) = 3.14159265359…going on forever. The universe is infinite and finite, this is where the confusion lies. Infinity is perhaps the closest representation of the cosmos itself, this idea of time partially comes from it, for it is forever increasing or expanding, and the cosmos has the endless possibility/ability of creating and destroying. The idea of rebirth from the Hindus, or Buddhists also is born out of the universe of the cycle of life. The computer is said to be made as a tool for our minds. In other words, it’s a tool we use as a sort of extension of the human brain. In the same way, planes are tools in order to fly up in the skies like a bird. A computer uses binary code which are numbers of 1s and 0s. All of this information one puts in a computer is really transposed into ones (1) and zeros(0) in order to show us images on the screen. In other words, this is the language used for computers, the language man chose to use in order to make it useful for oneself. In the same idea, when we speak through a cellphone, our voice is an energy that’s transposed into electricity, which is then transported to the other person’s phone via phone tower signals. The signal is transporting the energy, your voice into the other person’s phone which they have next to their ears. Their ear hears this energy that is outputting through the phone and their brain recognizes this sound, this energy, which is the energy that makes up your voice, that energy is you. Information is all around us like a conscious universal bubble. The information in computers where its underlying language is 1s and 0s is like our voices transferring information through a phone call, while its underlying language is energy, or more specific than that, sound energy.

What should you do when you obtain knowledge? In other words, so what if you know the truth? The truth is hard to grasp because it is like a balance act, you have to keep yourself centered, or you will fall over towards the right or left. The truth is a powerful tool, for it could be turned into either a dangerous weapon or a useful one. I would much rather people use their knowledge in order for the human race to suffer less. In the same way, Nikola Tesla wanted to give electricity to the whole world, not wishing for money or fame, but only thinking about its usefulness and its application of it for everyone. I wish that modern culture was into scientists the way they are with sports athletes, musicians, and celebrities. There is nothing wrong with following and loving them, but too much becomes excessive, and obsessive to the point of cult-like behaviors. Athletes represent incredible human abilities of the mind and body so it is worth funding in sports and all areas of the arts such as music and theater. People are able to do amazing feats, yet inventions have been static or slowly progressing over the past several years. Has technological innovation peaked or are people not interested anymore? I’m curious to know what will be the future one hundred years from now. How different will it be from today? Will currency still exist? And if it does will it just be digitized? Will Artificial Intelligence be more prominent like in Science fiction movies? It’s a curious idea about AI for I ask what use will they be. We are already making AIs except it’s not artificial, it is biological in the form of babies.

Will babies and people become obsolete? A dangerous venture to create AI because making something smarter than us will essentially make it unnecessary to exist. Imagine if an intelligent alien race came down to earth tomorrow, the human race would bow down and worship them like Gods because they are more powerful, powerful because of their intellect that created tools that we may have not imagined or invented yet. We would submit and surrender to the aliens because of fear, the aliens are doing unimaginable things. In the same way, in the Star Wars Saga, the Ewoks start worshiping C-3PO because he was doing something their intelligence couldn’t comprehend. C-3PO doesn’t view himself as a God, nevertheless, he took advantage of the situation, taking the throne of becoming God to the Ewok tribe. I wonder what will happen when man becomes God or can use Godlike powers beyond the capabilities of an Atom Bomb, will this cause mankind’s own demise or infinite ecstasy? Or will we create an artificially intelligent race that destroys us? Or will we use AI to best understand ourselves and the universe to find paradise or destroy it?

Yours truly.

P.S: Nothing I write is for one to examine closely and say it’s truth. It’s merely just a way to exercise my thoughts.

“If you want to find the secrets of the universe think in terms of energy, frequency and vibrations.

Nikola Tesla

“As long as Mathematical law reflects the reality, it is not accurate, as soon as it is accurate, it does not reflect the reality.

Albert Einstein

“AI is likely to be either the best or worst thing to happen to humanity.

Stephen Hawking
