There’s the mind and then there is the brain. The brain is a physical-mechanical system and the mind is… not exactly sure where it is? But has to be in the brain, right? The brain is a material organ, the mind is a product of it.
Cartesian Dualism: The Mind-Body Duality, Descartes: “The rational mind connects with the animal body at the pineal gland. Thus mind affects the body and the body affects the mind…is there a “mind” or “soul” independent of the brain? https://www.docsity.com/en/mind-body-duality-mind-brain-and-behaviour-lecture-slides/221231/

Why do we keep going in circles when finding out the truth about ourselves and the meaning of everything? If the meaning of everything is nothing then it wouldn’t make sense because there is no “nothing.” For nothing is space and space contains everything! The universe is a big space of nothingness that expands forever, and for all we know, it could literally be curved near the edge or end.
Imagine if our mind is conjuring up outer space, then when our thought reaches its limits to the outer end of the brain, that’s where it is curved. Now let’s get back on track. We established that the universe is a big space of nothingness, so, therefore, nothing is actually something. Our symbol of nothing is 0. So if nothing is equal to zero (nothing=0), then is zero actually the same as all the other numbers: one, two, three…to infinity, because nothing equals everything. What if zero and Infinity are actually the same because zero or the idea of zero contains everything like space. Why did the idea of zero conjure up and all the other numbers? For what purpose? Galileo stated, “Mathematics is the language in which God has written the universe.”
Whether mankind invented math or discovered it makes no difference because it’s useful. For the same reason you don’t need to know how a computer is made and all of its components and the complex science & engineering behind it that makes it possible for you to make use of it. This is the same with language and mathematics. We don’t need to know how we came up with it or why we discovered it, but just be grateful for its value such as making our lives much easier.
The self-evaluation of the mind could be useful or maddening, enlightening or confusing. One should tread carefully when searching deep into your thoughts. Don’t fall into the traps, sort of like thinking about thinking because that leads to anxiety. Meditate when that happens, go for a walk, or distract yourself with people and the physical world because living just in the abstract world- of thoughts is not enough to feel alive.
The abstract world such as your imagination, memories, and stored knowledge is a tool you can use to manifest something into the physical world. The idea of flying with the birds was probably an idea conjured up by the minds of folks who dared to dream. These dreamers may have had a tad of jealousy or immense curiosity that a bird had wings and could fly in the air toward the clouds, meanwhile, a man with only hands and feet could only roam around on the ground. A man with this ambition to roam the skies imagined it was possible! And therefore, imagining was not enough. People put this thought into action by inventing airplanes and other creative ways to soar the skies like birds to satisfy their desires.
“I am the manifestation of my thoughts.”
“If I think then I am aware.”
“Think with the whole body.”
